Figs & Fernet

rye whiskey, Fernet, simple syrup, orgeat, lemon

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Rye Whiskey
1 oz Simple syrup
3/4 oz Lemon juice
1/2 oz Fernet
1/4 oz Orgeat
Garnish: Half of a fresh fig

Instructions

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over crushed ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with 1/2 a fig if you've got one. A dehydrated lemon would also be a reasonable garnish.
