Rosemary Simple Syrup

Ingredients

1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Sugar
1 sprig Rosemary

Instructions

Make simple syrup and add in a sprig of rosemary. Let it sit in the warm syrup for a bit; simple, simple. I hit the rosemary with the back of a knife to break the surface and release a little more of the oils and juice inside. Strain and refrigerate. It will last a couple of weeks or so in the fridge.

I use this syrup for the Cranberry Rosemary Cocktail.
